What size pewter bracelet do you have?
Some take it from their toes and order the largest size we have, and then the pewter bracelet is many times too big and is sent back. Others measure the length of their favorite bracelet and then it is usually also wrong because that pewter bracelet is made in a different way than we do, the button is on a loop and not on the leather as we do on all our models, the loops are different sizes from different craftsmen or the customer measures in a different way what we do, etc. Therefore, our absolute recommendation is that when ordering pewter bracelets measure the wrist according to the picture below and then add 1.5 cm. This is the absolute safest way to get the right size tin bracelet.
This is how we measure our pewter bracelets
We only measure the leather part, i.e. without the loop for the button. See pictures below. If you don't remember if it was from Shop in Lapland that you ordered your pewter bracelet, check if your bracelet has an oblong tag with our logo inside the loop, see the first picture below.
To find out what size you have on your pewter bracelet and that it is from Shop in Lapland, do as below:
- Check that our logo is on a small plate inside the loop.
- Place the tape measure edge to edge with the leather on the pewter band inside the loop, measure the entire leather strip down to the button.
- Turn the pewter bracelet over and measure again on the wrong side the length of the leather without the loop and check that you get the same measurement. The bracelet below is 18 cm long.
