The tin bracelet symbolizes the market street on a sparkling cold winter day with temperatures down to -40 degrees Celsius during the annual Jokkmokk Market. Jokkmokk Market is one of the world's oldest annual markets, having been held on the first weekend in February since 1606 (with a break for the pandemic). The market is a major cultural meeting place for Sami crafts, culture, reindeer herding and local food and attracts around 40-50,000 visitors.
