Komsekula is traditionally a Sami symbol of protection that would hang over the Sami cradle /komsen/ and protect the child against evil spirits, illness and bring good luck with the tinkling of the small silver rings. There is always an odd number of rings – an even number is believed to bring bad luck. The Komsekul is said to protect its wearer from evil spirits and bring good luck with the tinkling of small silver rings. Suitable for all ages.
