Wool blanket with a pattern inspired by church paintings by Albertus Pictor.
Albertus Pictor is Sweden's most famous church painter during the late Middle Ages. The pattern for the Albertus blanket is inspired by leaf loops and borders that are common in many of the churches Albertus Pictor has painted, where Nederluleå church in Gammmelstad's church town is the northernmost church. In it are the choir's late medieval frescoes made by Albertus Pictor's school. They were whitewashed in the 18th century but were redeveloped in 1909.
