Painting with spark plug embroidery - Sami motif

Small painting with pewter embroidery and textile application by Monica Svonni, Jokkmokk. Application in the form of a horny or clean embroidered on colored and white cloth on black painted wooden board.

Monika lives in Jokkmokk, a small community in Lapland. She mainly creates applications in leather, various textiles and tin wire, but also carves in wood.
With her pictures, Monika wants to convey nature's relationship to life in the Sami culture in Sapmi.

Size: 8x18x1.5 cm
The motifs are handmade and the patterns differ slightly between each painting.
