Pleated bracelet in wool

Pleated bracelet in wool by Susanne Beskow, van Deurs.

Home-woven ribbon in silk is made of pleated black wool. The home-woven ribbons have traditionally been woven into the Leksand suit's hat for married women.

The art of weaving these ribbons was inherited from hill to hill. The designer Susanne Beskow wants to carry this art form forward, the one that her relative Perander's Karin Stark, Siljansnäs mastered and was certified for.
