Description
Artists and sisters, Monika and Annika Eriksson were born in Piteå. Schooled in art, weaving and design, they create their works of art with wool, enthusiasm and imagination!

Wool Art
These unique pieces are created using a special wet-felting technique. The original handmade stools with padded felt are an excellent example of contemporary innovation – a modern product produced with traditional techniques.

Wool – a natural material
Wool has a number of positive characteristics. It is hardy, warm, naturally resistant to stains and mites, self-cleaning and environmentally friendly. All wool products should be washed using a biological wool-detergent but soapy water and gentle rubbing with a damp sponge is also effective. Mats and cushions can be rinsed gently in a little soapy water, dried and then gently pressed.

Still Miss Norrbotten
The sisters now live in Skellefteå and Stockholm. For a few weeks every summer they open their studio/shop in Jävrebodarna outside Piteå.
