Description
Eva was born and raised in Vittangi, in Northern Lapland. Formally trained at KV Art School in Gothenburg and through a variety of other courses, she works with graphics, ceramics and glass. More recently, she has dedicated herself to exploring and attempting to master the potential of glass, a medium which she finds exciting and stimulating. The barren landscape of Lapland with its stark contrasts is also an important source of inspiration. Her artistry often results in sculptures and two dimensional works as well as utility goods, primarily in the form of glass bowls.
