Description
Susann is originally from Roslagen and came to Boden when she was 7 years old. Her grandfather was a cobbler. As a child she loved sitting in his workshop and making her own creations from leather offcuts. Starting her own business has been a dream for Susann for 25 years. In 2007 it finally became a reality. She has always practised a variety of handcrafts and as her children have grown she has gradually had more time to dedicate to this passion. Five years ago she realised her ambition to begin working with tin wire. Today she makes pewter wire jewellery as well as pewter-embroideries on leather. She is able to once again enjoy the scent of the leather workshop and relive childhood memories. "It is a joy to create beautiful pieces of jewellery that are worn by children, women and men, both old and young," says Susann.
