Description
Born in Luleå in 1960, Peter Sundström is an artist and graphic designer. He was educated at Sunderby Art School and RMI Berghs School of Advertising as well as through courses with Arne Issacsson, Anders Wallin and Lasse Holm. An outstanding feature of Sundströms art is his ability to use light to great effect, creating dramatic contrasts in his watercolours, which often convey a poetic meeting of man and nature. His scenic landscapes simultaneously express power and dedication and careful manipulation of colour allows his work to invoke both inner and outer journeys. The shades sometimes conspire to conjure images of darkness, sometimes glistening sunlight.
